We highly recommend that your student not return to school until 24 hours fever free without the use of any medications, such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
Contact your child's school if...
Your child will be absent, please notify your child's office in the morning before 9:00 a.m. You will have 2 (two) days to notify the school district of your child's absence to keep your child excused.
*If your child has a serious illness or injury that affects school participation, please notify the school nurse so a plan can be implemented to meet your child's needs. A doctor's note may be required.
What if your child is ill or injured at school?
Students who become ill or injured at school will be seen in the nurse's office by trained staff. If your child is unable to return to class, a parent/guardian will be contacted. If the school can't get a hold of the parent/guardian, we will contact the emergency contact(s) that you have given to the school.
Physical Examines-
Kindergarten students are recommended to have Physical, Dental, and Vision examinations prior to school entrance, however they are not required. We recommend that all students have a yearly exam from their physician, however after kindergarten we do not need copies of the exams unless there is a significant change in your student's health.
