American Government is a one Trimester long course which will provide students with knowledge of political systems, the structures of power, authority, and governance, and the historical and contemporary functions of each of these structures in American society. Students will examine these issues on local, state, and national levels. In addition, tribal sovereignty, tribal government, and treaty rights in Wisconsin will also be studied. Furthermore, students will be responsible for analyzing and discussing the current affairs of the US and the impact these have on our country and the various regions of the world.
